searching for the cure

The Movement Collaborative was founded by Brad Smeele, former professional wakeboarder, who suffered a horrific accident while training that left him a quadriplegic.

Like other spinal cord injury sufferers, Brad has been on a mission to get back to walking ever since his injury. This has led him down a number of different paths searching for this cure, and it has ultimately led him to start The Movement Collaborative.

The Movement Collaborative aims to speed up the search for an effective cure by driving fundraising campaigns, facilitating collaboration between researchers and by bringing attention and support to significant pieces of research which have the potential to bring movement back to those living with paralysis.

In order to execute this mission, The Movement Collaborative needs money!

What did we do?

Project Two is simple.

We are here to enable existing charities so that they are able to meet their objectives.

Evolve Foundation was able to pay for the development of their website, so they have a platform from which they meet their objectives by raising awareness and funding.

Funds donated to The Movement Collaborative go directly towards funding the most promising spinal cord injury research projects, selected by an international board of SCI experts

Donations can be made from this website and also by partaking in the 'Keep or Cut Challenge' - Here's a PDF that explains the challenge - Keep or Cut

It's really simple, but we feel that it will have an impact towards their mission by providing a platform from which The Movement Collaborative is able to go forth and meet their objectives.

And here is the website - www.themovementcollaborative.com
